About Armitage FA

Founded in March 2003, Armitage FA is Chicago’s answer to competitive, first-rate men’s and co-ed soccer. We offer the highest quality adult leagues in the area.

Armitage FA is not a recreational league! Team rosters are enforced, and league regulations and structure are well organized. Check out what Armitage FA has to offer!

Men’s League

Armitage FA’s Men’s League is affiliated with the Illinois State Soccer Association (ISSA). This affiliation gives our teams the highest level of organization and attracts the best players in the area. It also allows teams to enter tournaments and competitions outside of Armitage FA. These tournaments include the Illinois State Cup and play against top competition from other Illinois leagues, local suburban tournaments that include some of the top teams in the midwest, or the U.S. National Amateur Cup with the opportunity to play against the best amateur teams in the United States. Co-Ed Leagues

Our Co-Ed League is divided into two divisions. We’ll have a Premier Division, which includes our best co-ed teams, and a First Division, which will include our up-and-coming teams as well as any newly signed teams. Our season runs spring through fall so the league includes only the most committed players. Players not involved in Armitage FA can sign on as subs in the co-ed league.

Indoor Leagues

We offer both men's and co-ed futsal leagues at the most popular indoor facility in Chicago, ChiTown Futbol. We're adding a new 6 v 6 indoor facility in November 2006. The Rauner YMCA offers the newest field turf indoor pitch in Chicago.

Referees

Armitage FA only uses licensed referees. Every game in the men’s league will include a referee and two linesmen. Our co-ed league games will use one referee but no linesmen.

Social Events

Armitage FA will host a number of social events during the year, including pub crawls, tailgates, and parties. Check the calendar on the home page for the next event!
