About Armitage FA
Since 2003, Armitage FA has built up a
reputation of providing excellent competitive men's and co-ed soccer in
Chicago.
In January of 2009, AFA joined forces with
the only other adult soccer-dedicated club in Chicago - the Windy City Wanderers FC.
The main links below take you through to
the website of Windy City Wanderers as they are handling all
registrations and communication.
The new WCW/AFA Men’s League is affiliated with
the Illinois State Soccer
Association (ISSA). This affiliation gives our teams the highest
level of organization and attracts the best players in the area. It
also allows teams to enter tournaments and competitions outside of
Armitage FA. These tournaments include the Illinois State Cup
and play against top competition from other Illinois leagues, local suburban tournaments
that include some of the top teams in the midwest, or the U.S. National
Amateur Cup with the opportunity to play against the best amateur
teams in the United States. Register for these tournaments at ISSA.
The new WCW/AFA Co-Ed League is divided into two
divisions. We’ll have a Premier Division, which includes our best
co-ed teams, and a First Division, which will include our up-and-coming
teams as well as any newly signed teams. Our season runs spring through
fall so the league includes only the most committed players. As with
all leagues, the Co-ed league is ISSA affiliated and sanctioned.

We offer several indoor leagues during the winter. You

Referees
Armitage FA only uses licensed USSF referees. Every game
in the men’s league will include a referee and two linesmen. Our
co-ed league games will use one referee but no linesmen.
